Our son started at Walbridge in the 3rd grade, 2 grade levels behind in all subjects, severely lacking in self confidence. Within the first semester we saw him realize that he CAN learn. Homework went from a "drag him kicking and screaming" affair to him self-starting assignments on a regular basis. We are extremely grateful to the school and its dedicated teaching staff for changing our family dynamic in a positive way! The school works for a variety of reasons: small class sizes means more individual attention; multiple teaching methods are employed to help reach the children in the way that THEY learn; study skills are taught so that when the students move on they have the tools to continue their education successfully by showing them their learning style so they can be their own self-advocate. An excellent school!
